Frustrated

My son's birthday is next week and I bought him this John Deere tractor power wheel. I stored it in the shed and told my husband to make sure he didn't let Reagan in the shed. Any guess at what happened while I was at work today? If you guessed he found it you're right, and instead of making something up my husband let him try it out. Usually if he finds presents that I've purchased for him for a later date I tell him it's for my class and he usually forgets about it. To make matters worse I have a habit of over reacting I made my husband feel awful after blowing up and now I feel awful for my actions. My dad use to say there's two thing in life #1 don't sweat the small stuff #2 it's all small stuff. I wish I was more easy going at times. I have improved alot but I still have a ways to go.

Family Vacation

This week we took a family vacation to Kings Island and to Great Wolf Lodge. It is a great place for kids. Our daughter's favorite was the hot tub, while my son got a little daring. We were shocked he did all the tube slides and had a great time.

Missing Dad

Two years ago my dad died of a heart attack. It still really hurts sometimes I'll be fine but today is not a good day my son's birthday is next week and I wish my dad was here. I wish he could see my kids growing up and people they are becoming. I know he's in a better place and that he dosen't have to suffer anymore, and I'm fortunate to have him as long as I did. It's just that sometimes it still just stinks that he's not here
